Straightforward terms for ordering from WoodsIn Meat
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with WoodsIn Meat, whether online, by phone, or via WhatsApp. By placing an order you agree to the terms below.
WoodsIn Meat is a meat retailer operating in the Netherlands, specialising in premium South African and international meats.
All prices on our website are shown in Euros (€) and include VAT at the applicable Dutch rate.
You can place an order:
An order is confirmed once you receive a confirmation message from us (email, WhatsApp, or verbally by phone). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if we cannot fulfil it.
Online orders are paid at the time of checkout. We accept:
Phone and WhatsApp orders may be paid on delivery or by bank transfer — we will confirm the method when you order. We do not store card details; all online payments are processed securely via Stripe.
We deliver throughout the Netherlands. Delivery times and fees are as follows:
You will receive a notification when your order is dispatched. If you need a specific delivery date, contact us before ordering — we will do our best to accommodate.
Delivery to remote areas or islands may take longer. We will contact you if this applies to your address.
All our products are perishable. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery, or that you have a secure, cool location for unattended deliveries. WoodsIn Meat is not liable for spoilage caused by failed or delayed receipt after dispatch.
Because our products are perishable food items, the standard 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases (under Dutch consumer law) does not apply.
However, if your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or below expected quality, we will make it right:
Contact us at info@woodsin.nl or call +31 6 18233289.
WoodsIn Meat's liability is limited to the value of your order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Dutch consumer law.
All content on this website — text, images, logos, and design — is owned by WoodsIn Meat or licensed to us. You may not reproduce it without written permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
If you have a complaint that we cannot resolve directly, you can contact the Dutch Consumers' Association (Consumentenbond) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is always current. Changes take effect from the date shown at the top of this page.
