Who We Are

Built Around One Simple Idea

WoodsIn Meat started with a craving. If you've grown up with real biltong — the kind made properly, from the right cut, dried at the right pace — you know that nothing in a Dutch supermarket comes close. We felt that gap, and decided to do something about it.

We're not a restaurant, not a catering company, not a food trend. We're a meat business, full stop. We source the best we can find, prepare it the right way, and get it to your door in the Netherlands without compromise.

Every product we stock is something we've personally tried, approved, and would eat ourselves. If it doesn't clear that bar, it doesn't make the list.

Where It Comes From

Sourced Globally,

We source from countries where specific meats are done exceptionally well. Beef from Argentina and Uruguay for the picanha and silverside — the climate and grazing there produce a marbling you can't replicate elsewhere. Biltong-grade cuts from Namibia and Botswana, where the cattle farming tradition runs deep. Wagyu and speciality cuts from Australia and Japan for those occasions when only the best will do.

This isn't box-ticking. We chose each source because the product is genuinely better — not because it's cheaper or more convenient. That's the only way we know how to operate.
